Scandinavia is high on the list of places that the Mrs. Guru and I would like to travel – it’s a beautiful area of the world, and United<\/a> has substantially dropped prices on flights to Norway and Sweden for this winter.  Flights from Newark to Oslo are as low as $487 and flights from Newark to Stockholm are slightly higher, at about $507.<\/p>\n

This sale is valid on United’s nonstop flights out of Newark, which is always nice to travel without connections.  Dates are a bit scattered from November, 2014 through March, 2014, but you can use Kayak<\/a> or ITA Software<\/a> to perform flexible date searches.  Here’s a sample of fares in December, 2014:<\/p>\n
