Air Berlin has announced a sale for flights to Europe for as low a $999 roundtrip for 2 people.  They’re calling it a Fly2gether sale, so you have to book 2 people to get this special fare, but it’s really a good promotion.  Tickets have to be purchased by today, December 1, 2013, and travel can be between January 1 and March 31, 2014.

Air Berlin does only fly to a few cities in North America, so this deal makes the most sense for folks who live in/near New York, Chicago, Miami, or Fort Myers…but it could still be a decent deal if you can get to one of those cities cheaply or using miles:

Even though I live in NC, I could use only 9,000 British Airways points each to get to NYC to take advantage of this deal.
